TAKING OVEN CLEANING OUT OF THIS WORLD

Galaxy is run by Justin, who you will all have seen during your oven cleans. Justin has been cleaning ovens for around 7 years. He wanted his own business so asked Siri what was the most hated job. Oven cleaning came in at number 2 and Justin realised there was space in the market to save people from one of the most hated tasks in the UK! He started with the bare minimum, survived COVID-19 when many businesses unfortunately didn’t and has finally been able to get the van wrap he has always wanted. It has taken some time, but the determination has been second to none to make it a success.

 

A little-known fact about Justin is that he lives with ADHD. Whilst there are many challenges along the way, this actually makes Justin obsessed with making sure your oven cleans are perfect—so it can’t be all that bad! He may also ask you for a coffee and a water/squash… it’s hot business being in front of a maximum temperature oven. Plus, with how many we do, he needs to stay awake and hydrated. So please don’t be offended if he asks for a drink!

 

When Justin isn’t in front of an oven, he can often be found at home, cooking (making our oven a mess!), or tuning and racing cars on Gran Turismo. There’s not much he doesn’t know about cars.

 

The goals when the business started were to be No 1 in Gloucestershire and to survive for 5 years. Well, we’re No 1 on social media in Gloucestershire, have exceeded the 5-year goal, and are still going strong. Our next goals are being worked on, and some will take longer than others to achieve. We’ll keep everyone updated on anything new, such as offers and competitions. One of the main objectives is to try to give back as much as possible. We started doing that in 2024 with the introduction of the Blue Light card discount, closely followed by the Military Defence discount.
